STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Sun: Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
Arsenal will be looking to close the gap on league leaders Manchester City to three points when they travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest on Sunday, writes JOE CITRONE.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v ARSENAL PREVIEW
Despite seemingly pulling off a major coup by appointing Oliver Glasner over the summer, Nottingham Forest have endured a difficult start to the season, with the Austrian’s side languishing in 17th place at the time of writing.
Forest will be eager to bounce back from a disappointing result in their last outing, when Glasner’s former club Crystal Palace came back to haunt their ex-manager, inflicting a 3-1 defeat on his side at Selhurst Park last week.
To make matters worse, Glasner also revealed a concern over talisman Morgan Gibbs-White, who picked up an issue during the defeat, potentially dealing another blow to Forest’s hopes of turning their fortunes around.

As for Arsenal, they’ve responded well to that disappointing 3-0 loss to Brighton last month, picking up a 2-1 win over Leeds in the Premier League and sweeping Lille aside 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
At the time of writing, Arsenal sit six points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City. However, with the title race still wide open and City’s ongoing financial charges casting a degree of uncertainty over the club’s situation, there is plenty left to play for. The Gunners will be keen to close the gap and take greater control of their own title ambitions.
Mikel Arteta has to juggle some injury concerns, though, with Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi both missing that Champions League win over Lille.

WHERE’S THE BETTING VALUE IN NOTTINGHAM FOREST v ARSENAL?
I am expecting a fairly comfortable win for Arsenal in this one, despite Nottingham Forest having the home advantage here.
Arsenal are typically strong in defence, and if Forest are missing Gibbs-White, their attacking quality suddenly looks quite depleted. I think the Gunners will win this to nil, which you can back at 8/5 with starsports.bet.
