STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Thu: Wales v Norway

Life in the top tier of Nations League football has not started too well for Wales, but their fans will be expecting an upturn in fortunes back at the familiar surroundings of the Cardiff City Stadium, writes WILLIAM KEDJANYI.

Wales have lost just one of their last eight competitive internationals in the capital and manager Craig Bellamy will be looking for a reaction from his players after their bitterly disappointing 2-0 loss to Denmark.

Bellamy’s side are struggling to create and convert chances, which goes some way to explaining why they are 11-2 outsiders to bag their first success of the calendar year. Norway are as short as 4-9 to bounce back from their 2-1 home defeat to Portugal.

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

Whilst goals are never a problem for the Norwegians – let’s face it, if Erling Haaland is fit, they never will be – keeping clean sheets is. The defeat in Portugal was the fifth time in their last seven fixtures in which they have conceded twice, and 11 of their last 12 competitive fixtures have yielded at least three goals.

So, it will be disappointing if the home side can’t cause Norway problems, especially with a partisan Cardiff crowd roaring them on.

In what has the potential to be quite an entertaining fixture, goals look the way to go. Both teams to score and Over 2.5 Goals are 4/6 and 1/2 chances respectively with starsports.bet but we can combine the pair to forge a 20/21 wager that has a very strong chance of landing.
