Arsenal host West Ham in a match that could kickstart a real winning streak for the current league leaders…

This period of fixtures for Arsenal includes West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest and it could be the time to pick up 12 points and kick on from Liverpool and the chasing pack in the table.

They’re as short as they’ve ever been at 5/2 with in the outright market and interestingly, Manchester City have recently touched their largest price so far this season at 11/10.

Arsenal are unbeaten in 14 home games in all competitions and have won 12 of them which is a stat likely to be boosted this evening.

Arteta’s side arrive here after a tight encounter at Anfield on Saturday which resulted in a 1-1 draw with both sides having opportunities to claim 3 points, not least when Saka was through on goal and had Alisson beat before Martinelli chopped the ball wide at the near post.

With that said, it wasn’t Zinchenko’s finest match of his career and that could be an angle of exploitation for David Moyes’ two-pronged attack on the right side with Kudus and Bowen who each scored a goal in their 2-0 win over Manchester United.

With regards to the away side, the Hammers are in fine fettle and are consistently defying expectations I had for them this season after losing Declan Rice. This is demonstrated by them only failing to score once in their last 13 games in all competitions.

Jarrod Bowen scored for a third consecutive match against Manchester United and has propelled himself to an unbelievable figure of 11 for the season which is 1 behind his best Premier League tally of two years ago and just 3 behind Haaland.

Bowen’s number this season as well as Mohammed Kudus’ is higher than any Arsenal player including Saka who sits at 5.

West Ham have conceded the most goals out of any club in the Top 8 and nearly double Arsenal’s figure which is partially explained by the fact they’ve not kept a clean sheet in any of their away matches this season.

This could be the moment Arteta shows the world what his side are fully capable of and that’s why I’m taking Arsenal -2 at 12/5 with
