STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Thurs: Tottenham v Roma
Tottenham will be on cloud nine after hammering Manchester City 4-0 at the weekend and will be looking to carry that momentum into Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Roma, writes JOE CITRONE.
Spurs were able to capitalise on the ongoing crisis at Manchester City at the weekend as Ange Postecoglou’s side smashed the Cityzens 4-0 thanks to goals from James Maddison, Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson.
However, this Spurs side has been plagued by inconsistency this season and have always seemed to back up a positive win with a disappointing defeat in recent weeks.
After their most impressive win of the season, though, Postecoglou will be desperate that that doesn’t happen again and will be demanding everything from his players on Thursday night.

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐
Roma will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Antonio Conte’s Napoli at the weekend when they face Tottenham in the Europa League on Thursday.
On the whole, it has been a very disappointing season for Roma which has already resulted in a managerial change with Daniele De Rossi being replaced by 73-year-old Claudio Ranieri who has come out of retirement to take the top job at Stadio Olimpico.
As things stand, Roma are sat in 13th-position in the Serie A table with only three wins to their name so far this season. Ranieri has a job on his hands turning this around.
As much as I’m sure someone as experienced as Ranieri will be able to have an impact, but I can’t see much else than a Spurs win here – as long as they can perform to their best. At 12/5 with starsports.bet, I like the look of a home win to nil here.
