STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Tue: Nottingham Forest v Manchester United
Just a few short seasons ago – or even last season – the idea of Nottingham Forest being to beat Manchester United would have been remarkable, writes WILLIAM KEDJANYI.
However, over the last two seasons – and especially this one – the two teams have gone in such different directions that a price of for the hosts starsports.bet is justified, based on their seasons. Forest are in dreamland, sitting third in the Premier League table and also in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, both fully deserved positions.
Manchester United are sitting in 13th place after one of their worst seasons on record, with neither Erik Ten Hag or Ruben Amorim able to stop the rot. Some utterly dire on pitch performances have been matched with dreadful decisions from the new leadership in the boardroom, and the future does not look bright for the red side of Manchester.

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️
Forest – even with two anxious injury waits on star duo Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood – are worthy favourites, although there would be less enthusiasm about taking the current prices if Gibbs Wood, who hobbled off during their FA Cup victory over Brighton on Saturday, wasn’t able to take part.
Wood, who has scored 18 Premier League goals this season, is a major doubt due to a hip injury here, and Forest understandably looked less incisive without him against Brighton, when outstanding defensive contributions came from Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo along with goalkeeper Mats Selz.
Forest’s clean sheet at Brighton was their 14th across all seasons, and they’ve shipped just 10 goals in their 14 Premier League home matches this season – the best home record of any team.
United had been slightly better before the international break, with no losses in seven and a 4-1 win over Real Sociedad in the Europa League followed up by a 3-0 win over Leicester, but breaking down Forest on their own patch is going to be a hard task and they have failed to scored in 10 of their 29 league games this term.
Nottingham Forest’s FA Cup quarter-final at Brighton was goalless after 120 minutes, and their last two home league games produced only one goal, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a tight encounter here – Under 2.5 goals looks the call with starsports.bet.
