STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Tues: PSG v Bayern Munich
PSG host Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie, writes JOE CITRONE.
Luis Enrique’s side breezed through the last stage of this competition, sweeping aside Liverpool 4-0 on aggregate in the quarter-finals without breaking a sweat, and they arrive into this semi-final first leg having won four of their last five in all competitions.
PSG are not without vulnerability – they slipped up against Lyon in Ligue 1 earlier this month – and are not quite as comfortable in the title race as they’d expect to be.
But, in European football, they have been flawless in the last couple of years. Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Barcola give them pace and ingenuity in abundance – this is a team that genuinely believes they can retain their Champions League crown.

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐
Standing in their way of that are Bayern Munich, who, themselves, find themselves in scintillating form, having already wrapped up another Bundesliga title.
In their most recent outing, they produced an incredible comeback against Mainz, showing great resilience to fight back from being 3-0 down at half-time to win 4-3.
Harry Kane, with 33 Bundesliga goals this season, is one of the most lethal strikers in world football right now, and will be looking to cause a splash on Tuesday night as he goes after his first European trophy.
Bayern Munich defeated PSG 2-1 when the pair met in the league phase of this competition earlier in the campaign, but with the French side perhaps able to exercise a little more control in these games than their German counterparts, and having the home advantage, I think they could shade this first leg.
