STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Weds: Sunderland v Liverpool
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from that dramatic defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday night when they make the trip to the North East to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, writes JOE CITRONE.
Sunderland have been one of the surprise packages of this Premier League season, outperforming fellow promoted clubs Leeds and Burnley, who both finished above them in the Championship last term.
A victory on Wednesday would take them back into the top half of the Premier League table, and perhaps more crucially for Sunderland fans, above arch-rivals Newcastle United, who returned to winning ways against a hapless Spurs on Tuesday.

 STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETSÂ
Liverpool thought theyâd sealed a huge win over Manchester City when Dominik Szoboszlai scored an unbelievable free-kick, worthy of winning any match, with a quarter of an hour remaining of the game.
However, a late City double saw the game turned on its head, which salvaged their survival hopes and put a dent in Liverpoolâs chances of finishing in the top-four.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United dropping points on Tuesday has helped their cause, though, and Arne Slotâs side will be looking to take full advantage of that on Wednesday night at the Stadium of Light.
However, Sunderlandâs home record has been very strong in recent weeks, with just their away record letting them down, and thatâs why I fancy them to get something here. At 21/20 with starsports.bet, I fancy a double chance of Sunderland-draw.
