STAR PREVIEW: Chelsea v Man U

After the international break the Premier League returns with a bang as Chelsea face Manchester United. The hosts have made a much better start to the season than their visitors, with Maurizio Sarri proving to be an inspired choice as they’ve gone unbeaten so far under the Italian.

His incredible attacking style has taken the leash off a side that is bursting with midfield talent whilst also changing the mood at Stamford Bridge, and it has paid off tenfold with an unbeaten start bringing in six wins from eight games.

One of those draws came against Liverpool – who are also jointly top of the league – when they were arguably unlucky not to be further ahead when on top in the first half, and they signed off before the international break with a 3-0 win at Southampton. Eden Hazard (4/1 to score first with has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 578 minutes and he has been supported ably by Jorginho, Kovacic and Pedro in an extremely attacking midfield.

United have had the opposite season, with discord off the field translating to poor performances on it. Jose Mourinho’s strength is said to be defensive solidity but they’ve been opened up this season and in their three defeats they’ve conceded three goals to Brighton, Tottenham and West Ham whilst also conceding two against Newcastle to boot last week before they snatched victory with a last-minute goal.

This makes the 3/4 on Over 2.5 goals quite tempting but there is the danger of United trying to sit deep to counter Hazard and a straight win bet on Chelsea, who look as if they can throw down a title challenge this season, makes appeal.
