STAR PREVIEW: England v Turkey
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he FA Cup is done and dusted, Louis Van Gaal looks done and dusted and it’s only three weeks to Euro 2016 which gets underway with hosts France against Romania on June 10.
Plenty of friendly action before then, including England taking on Turkey today at the Etihad Stadium.
England’s great run of form since the World Cup in Brazil has faltered with recent defeats against Spain and Holland but they should have enough class to beat the Turk’s who are certainly not in bad form themselves – winning five of their last six matches.
New boys Kane and Vardy start up front for England and if Premier League form is anything to go by that should be quite a potent force – 49 goals between them.
Unsurprisingly, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford miss the match after their FA Cup duties at Wembley yesterday.
