STAR PREVIEW: Man City v Juventus
[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ice and easy profit last night with the recommended win bet on West Ham against Newcastle.
As much as I have been impressed with Man City in the Premier League this season I’m not getting too carried away as the main story has surely been the abject form and consistency from their rivals? Notably, Chelsea of course.
That said, they will relish the chance to take on last year’s finalists Juventus tonight at the Etihad as the two teams couldn’t be in more contrasting form heading into the first match of the Champions League Group phase.
The Sky Blues are sky high and unbeaten in the Premier League but Juventus have made their worst ever start to a Serie A campaign with just one point from three matches.
Man City will be without striker Sergio Aguero will after he injured his knee during City’s 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Manuel Pellegrini’s options are boosted though as Raheem Sterling has recovered from a hamstring problem and David Silva is available after ankle trouble.
City haven’t always converted their domestic form to the Champions League (fifth Champions League campaign but never progressed past the last 16) but are surely well placed tonight to get the Group phase off to a winning start which they may well need to as Group D looks one of the tougher groups.

At face value, City at 4/5 with Star Sports looks a little short and under normal circumstances I would think that – but there’s a big discrepancy in current form and that sways me to keeping it simple with a win bet on City.
