STAR PREVIEW Mon: Crystal Palace v Manchester City
Manchester City will be looking to restore their six-point at the top of the Premier League table with a victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.
After Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, the pressure is now on Pep Guardiola’s side to respond with a win and strengthen their grip on the Premier League title race.
This will be a tough game, however, with Crystal Palace making big strides this season under the stewardship of former City midfielder Patrick Vieira. Not only has the Frenchman pushed the Eagles towards the top-half of the table, but also revolutionised the playing style in a highly-productive season in South London.
Conor Gallagher, currently on loan from Chelsea, has been one of the stand-out players for Palace this season. In 24 Premier League appearances, the 22-year-old has scored eight goals from midfield this season and really caught the eye; earning himself his first England cap in the process.

Manchester City responded brilliantly to that shock 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in mid-February; winning their next three Premier League fixtures which included their derby day demolition of Manchester United.
They drew a blank in the second-leg of their Champions League fixture against Sporting Lisbon in midweek, but their thumping 5-0 win from the first-leg saw Pep Guardiola’s comfortably through to last-eight of the competition.
Guardiola’s side will be keen to avenge what happened to them against Crystal Palace earlier in the season where goals from Wilfried Zaha and Gallagher condemned the Cityzens to a rare home defeat in October.
Joao Cancelo, who has been excellent for City this season, will be missing for this game through illness which Kyle Walker’s comeback after his Champions League suspension all the more welcome.
Manchester City are frighteningly consistent when they’re in full swing, but as they proved back in October, Palace will be tough opponents for them. We’re backing both teams to score with the away side winning and also backing one of our build-a-bet specials of over 3.5 goals, over 11.5 corners and over 2.5 cards.
