STAR PREVIEW Mon: West Brom v Watford
Watford were relegated from the Premier League last season but they looked sharp on their return to the Championship with victory last week and they can double up against West Brom tonight.
Hornets manager Rob Edwards is making a big step up after helping Forest Green Rovers to League One last season but heโs arguably got the best frontline in the division thanks to Emmanuel Dennis, Joao Pedro and Ismaila Sarr. Whether Watford can keep them all at the club remains to be seen but they should be able to test every defence they come up against.
The 3-4-1-2 that Edwards used to such great effect at Forest Green worked to good effect last week, with Sarr and Dennis paying as a dual threat up front whilst Pedro slots in at no.10 behind that pairing, and Hassane Kamara was also impressive at wing-back in a performance that boded well for potential promotion bid.

Facing West Brom โ who fought back hard to take a deserved point at Middlesbrough last week – will be tougher still but they can take encouragement from the fact that The Baggies allowed 16 shots at goal, and if theyโre just as open this week then the visitors can take advantage with the quality they possess.
West Brom did carry plenty of threat last week โ with new signings Jed Wallace and John Swift making an immediate impact โ but their back of Christian Kabasele, Francisco Sierralta, and Craig Cathcart looked solid last week and Watford can make it two wins from two at the Hawthorns. 15/8 looks fair value for the visitors whilst the 4/1 on them winning with over 2.5 goals is tempting given the attacking quality both sides have on show.
