STAR PREVIEW: Nottingham Forest v Leeds United

[dropcap]P[/dropcap]leasing result on Boxing Day with Cue Card’s last gasp success in the King George at a rewarding 9/2. Could well have been a fortunate winner with Don Cossack’s unfortunate fall but it’s impossible to tell for sure.

The DRAW recommendation wasn’t so clever at the Britannia – I’m still giving Man U FAR too much credit and they really do look a club in turmoil now and Van Haal’s days surely numbered?

Less busy day on the football front but a good Championship match to look forward to at 4.30pm with Nottingham Forest taking on Leeds. It’s a fixture that has thrown up a fair number of goals over the years….. Leeds 3 Nottingham Forest 7 (SEVEN) in 2012 !!!!

Both teams are stuck in a bit of mid-season mediocrity – although a win for either side will edge them closer to the play-off zone. Not sure a DRAW would be an acceptable result for either side so I expect a push for the the full three points.

Both sides arrive with recent momentum. Nottingham Forest have won four and drawn two of their last seven Championship games.

Leeds have won three of their last four games and drawn the other match.

Forest are without left-back Daniel Pinillos who is out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage. Chris Cohen is still not fit after his cruciate injury.

Leeds have no new injury problems despite playing their third match in just ten days.
