STAR PREVIEW Sat: Manchester United v Leicester City
Manchester United will be looking to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive when they face Leicester City in a crucial Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Talk around Old Trafford is starting to turn towards next season with Erik Ten Hag reportedly being interviewed for the managerial role this week and rumours rumbling on about other candidates which include Mauricio Pochettino and Julen Lopetegui.
There is still plenty to play for this season for Ralf Rangnick’s side, although they do currently look like outsiders for a top-four spot. The Red Devils are currently sixth in the Premier League table, just two places behind the Champions League places, but fourth-placed Arsenal are four points ahead with a game in hand and in great form.
That Champions League spot could be pivotal as they look to refresh and rebuild over the summer with a Europa League place potentially making the club less appealing to transfer targets and that all-important manager.
Neither Marcus Rashford nor Jadon Sancho were called up for England duty so should be fresh for this one, but Fred and Alex Telles will need to be assessed. Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane both picked up knocks whilst away with France but are expected to be fit to start here.

Leicester City have endured a rather difficult season. After narrowly missing out on a Champions League space in the last two seasons, they were expected to challenge again but find themselves in 10th-place with 11 games to go.
Brendan Rodgers’ side still have a chance of silverware through the Europa Conference League, but any success in the league now appears unlikely with a mid-table finished looking like the most probable outcome.
They look to have a fight on their hands to keep star man Youri Tielemans at the club over the summer, though, with contract discussions rumbling on to little avail so far.
Former Manchester United player Jonny Evans should be fit to play here as should fellow defender Wesley Fofana who has recently made his comeback from a broken leg.
This game promises to be fairly open, though, with both of these sides’ strengths coming in attack and weaknesses in defence. We expect Manchester United to just have the edge here at Old Trafford in a game with goals. We’re backing the Red Devils to win in a match with over 2.5 goals.
