STAR PREVIEW: Sheffield Wednesday v Huddersfield

Trying to be as neutral as I can be, I thought Fulham at least deserved to take it to extra time and it was a shame to see such a crucial game settled from the penalty spot.

I was right about the low goal count though and surely it will be the same story at Hillsborough tonight with the teams locked at 0-0 from the first leg.

Sheffield Wednesday won both the home and away fixtures against Huddersfield in the regular season but the pair couldn’t be split at the end of the campaign with 81 points apiece.

Like last night, it could come down to a single moment of brilliance, an error or a referee decision – it is that finely poised.

Huddersfield are likely to recall goalkeeper Danny Ward in place of Joel Coleman after he missed Sunday’s first leg through suspension.
