STAR PREVIEW: Switzerland v Portugal

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he DRAW recommendation worked out well in Belgrade last night for a nice profit.

No home nation interest on Tuesday but plenty more World Cup Qualifiers to get stuck into.

The match that interests me most is Switzerland v Portugal (SKY SPORTS 1, 7.45pm).

Euro 2016 champions Portugal only managed to win one victory in normal time before going on to lift the trophy in the summer and Switzerland avoided defeat in all four of their games.

It was a very lacklustre tournament as far as I’m concerned and I’m not sure we can take the form too seriously moving forwards and onwards to Russia 2018.

The Portuguese certainly will be anxious to not fall into the same trap that Greece did when winning Euro 2004 but failing to qualify for the World Cup in 2006.

Without injured star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal are a very different outfit.

Again, I’m sticking with a DRAW as the most likely outcome which can be backed at around 19/10 with Star Sports and a small dabble on 0-0 at 11/2 which amazingly is the market leader on the correct score market.
