STAR PREVIEW: Verrado Founders Championship

Gidday golf fans. Well, this is a fine mess isn’t it! I think we can all agree that no sports on the TV is just as hellish as we imagined it would be. But in one faint glimmer of light in this real-life version of The Road there seems to be a golf tournament on today!

The tournament is called the Verrado Founders Championship and it’s a part of the Outlaw Tour. Now I grant you its full of golfers none of us have any idea about and they might only be slightly better than some of us, but it is a professional golf tournament none the less.

I’ve had a bit a look through money earnings, tournament wins and recent performances in tournaments leading up to this event and two names stick out for a bit of value.

Blue Horseshoe Loves:

Riley Wheeldon currently at 15/1 with

Riley Wheeldon sits atop the Outlaw tour money list for 2020. On the 9th of March Wheeldon won the Moon Valley Classic by stonking seven shots! He also finished fourth in the Ken McDonald Classic a few weeks earlier. The guy is clearly in good form currently and he looks good value.

Jeremy Paul currently at 18/1 with

Paul won three tournaments on the outlaw tour in 2019, more than any other player. He can clearly win if he gets the chance. In this reduced field if he hits the lead he could be hard to stop.
