STAR PREVIEW: Welling v Forest Green Rovers
There’s no live football on TV tonight.
REPEAT
There’s no live football on TV tonight.
Unbelievable scenes Jeff, but true.
But there are matches and I’ve found a bet with Star Sports in the National League (for anyone over the age of 18 months read “Conference”).
Life’s pretty good for Forest Green Rovers fans at the moment. They are topping the table (although it is pretty congested up there) and have a good chance of progressing to the coveted and potentially valuable third round of the FA Cup having giant-killed AFC Wimbledon in the first round and landed an away tie against fellow National League side Braintree Town or Oxford in Round Two.
Before that though, it’s back to the just as important bread and butter for their away tie match tonight against Welling who are currently 18th in the table but who have also progressed into round two of the Cup at the weekend.
The reverse fixture saw Forest Green win 1-0 in their first home game of the new season in August.

Forest Green have had a season so far of three halves (yes, I know that is gibberish) – they won their opening NINE games, then lost five of their next nine games and seem to have turned the corner again winning their last three games including the weekend Cup success. This will be a test for them but both sides are scoring goals and the both teams to score option at around 8/11 with Star Sports appeals most.
RECOMMENDED BETS (scale of 1-50 points)
BACK BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE for 15 points at around 8/11 with Star Sports
