STAR SPECIALS: The Queen to reign at 100!

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]tar Sports is celebrating the Queen’s birthday with Royal odds that predict Her Majesty to still be on the throne at 100. The firm offer betting on when a new Head of State will be crowned, and make 2026 or later the short favourite. The Gentleman’s Bookmaker also offer betting on who will succeed Her Majesty, with Prince Charles the favourite.

Luke Tarr, Star Sports spokesman, comments: “Recently some have said the Queen could abdicate after her 90th birthday and enjoy her retirement. Nonsense we say! She’s still a fantastic figurehead for our country, we are confident she will still be going strong at 100 and we’re happy to offer 33/1 she abdicates this year!”

He continued “Charles is the favourite to succeed Her Majesty and is odds-on at 2/5 but don’t rule out William at 2/1. We think Prince Charles has got a wait on his hands to become King and could pass the throne to his son… but not Harry, who we make 50/1!”
