Stoute at Pontefract. Mission Approved.

Pontefract 7.50
Mission Approved
TIME: 7.50pm
TV: ATR

Richard’s Hannon and Hughes had a great night at Windsor which I think it’s fair to say we predicted.

In the end they did get the first three winners plus one later on the card too.

Evening racing is in full swing now and there’s a decent handicap at Pontefract tonight which has attracted a field of just five.

Sir Michael Stoute is in cracking early season form which must be welcome news after a couple of seasons in the relative wilderness (by his high standards).

The stable have a big day tomorrow with the racecourse gallop of Derby hope Telescope at Lingfield after his injury scare forced him to miss the Dante Stakes.

Stoute is 29% over the last 14 days with 9 winners and he has a similar strike-rate with his runners at Pontefract over the years.

Mission Approved is his representative here who is on for the hat-trick after wins at Warwick and Lingfield (AW).

That was a good effort at Lingfield when he was well-backed and he should be even better suited by the mile trip tonight.

He’s around evens in the market – but that looks fair enough as he is clearly still unexposed.
