➡️ Suggestions are rife that we may not have seen Towcester host it’s last greyhound race! One option apparently being considered is a new entity coming in to lease the track to get it up and running again. It’s all very cloak and dagger but surely it’s too good a venue to lose… LATEST STARSPORTS.BET GREYHOUND MARKETS

➡️ Liz and Rab McNair incredibly trained the first four home in the British Bred Produce Stakes worth £15,000 to the winner on Saturday night at Swindon (main picture above). Perhaps just as amazing a feat is that the winner, King Sheeran, backed into 4/6F on the day, has come back from a broken hock to land the category one competition. He beat his main market rival, King Cash by 3/4 of a lengths then behind them was King Dylan and Queen Cher. The result bumps Liz McNair right up the Trainers Championship standings into third. ➡️ The Select Stakes was run on Monday night at Nottingham and ended up being a 5-dog affair after Julie Bateson’s van broke down on the M6 and so Forest Jason’s withdrawal left trap 5 vacant. It was puppy Trickys Drumbo who proved victorious for trainer Robert Holt. He was clear at the first bend and pulled away to score by seven lengths in 29.39sec. We await further details as to where we will see him race next but it’s clear the kennel have a proper dog on their hands with him being just a August 2017! Star Sports Derby semi-finalist, Droopys Verve took a tumble at the first bend after being nudged by Ice On Fire but was reported to be absolutely fine afterward by his trainer Angela Harrison.
