THE RACING ALTERNATIVE: Punchestown Festival Review, Another Loss for Nicholls, How Good Is Ka Ying Rising?
After a week’s holiday, Paul and Stephen are back with plenty to discuss in the world of racing, including this week’s Punchestown Festival, where Gaelic Warrior once again impressed.
Away from Punchestown, the duo discuss Paul Nicholls losing another important owner, is he nearing the end of his time at the top?
They also debate whether Ka Ying Rising is really as good as people think and whether he will ever be known as a true great without racing outside of Hong Kong?
Neither were particularly impressed with last weekend’s card at Sandown and this year’s renewal of the Whitbread (or whatever the kids are calling it these days).
They then end the show previewing all the weekend’s action, with tips and selections for Goodwood, Newmarket, Thirsk and Punchestown.
