Triple flip-flop ?

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]helsea led the Premier League table on Saturday, Man City on Sunday and now it’s the turn of Arsenal to go back to the top but they’ll need to take all three points at Villa Park tonight to do so.

There’s a good chance they will do so too. All the money today has been for the Gunners as they have a score to settle with Villa after their 3-1 Emirates defeat on the opening day of the season.

This is also a fixture that has finished goalless twice in the last four times they’ve met at Villa Park and scoring seems to be a problem for Villa this season. They have scored the fewest home league goals (seven) in the Premier League this season and The Villains have kept just two clean sheets in their last 21 home league matches.

Aston Villa recently exited the FA Cup with an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Sheffield United and Paul Lambert’s men are sure to be under pressure again tonight as they attempt to preserve their mid-table position and not get drawn into the relegation zone. 11th in the table might sound OK, but five points off the relegation zone is the reality.

Arsenal have an excellent record at Villa Park and are unbeaten in just over 15 years since Dion Dublin snatched a late winner in December 1998.

That trend is likely to continue and the obvious play is an Arsenal win – but that’s got a little skinny so we’ll switch to the handicap market with Star Sports where we get just north of evens with a -1 goal start.
