WORLD CUP PREVIEW: France v Honduras (8pm)
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f it had been a boxing bout the judges would have had it as a tie but I didn’t get paid on the DRAW last night π
As for England’s chances of qualifying it’s evens with Star Sports which sounds about right.
The Uruguay match will clearly be the pivotal match and a lot will come down to whether Uruguay can improve their game because if they played as badly as they did against Costa Riva then England will be in the last 16.
Three more matches today and the focus is on Group E in which France are odds-on to win.
Champions in 1998 and 2006 finalists France have a great World Cup record, and could well be running into form at the right time for this year’s competition having only lost one of their 10 games this season.
It’s a first ever clash for France against Honduras who have failed to score in their last four World Cup games.
France (-2) at around 9/4 looks the bet for me.
