PRESS RELEASE: 95% of bets on Trump in last week

Donald Trump continues to see plenty of money in the US election market, raking in 95% of all bets placed over the past week.

Trump is the 4/6 favourite to win the presidential election on 5th November, backed at 11/10 to pick up 48.00-50.99% of the votes. He’s also a 15/8-shot to win all seven of the swing states with the Republicans odds-on favourites for each one of them.

Kamala Harris has drifted from 4/5 favourite earlier this month to 11/8, being the recipient of just 5% of all bets in the past week. However, Harris has been backed to pull in more total votes at the election, with odds of 5/6 to win 48.00-50.99% of all votes, and as being as short as 11/4 to win 51.00-53.99%.

William Kedjanyi, Political Betting Analyst at Star Sports, said: “It’s been another week of Donald Trump being favoured in the market, pulling in 95% of all bets placed on the upcoming US presidential election.

“Although there’s still time for some twists and turns before election day, the former President is comfortably in the driving seat according to the betting at 4/6 to return to the White House on November 5th, with Kamala Harris now the 11/8 outsider.”
