TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(1) Top Dog is a Free To Enter competition promoted by the Racing Post and organised by Star Sports
(2) You must be 18 or older to take part
(3) The competition runs alongside the Star Sports Greyhound Derby 1 May – 6 June 2026.
(4) The competition runs from the start of the first round on Friday 1 May to the end of the semi-finals on Saturday 30 May.
(5) Competitors will be required to make a selection for all the races nominated by Star Sports (please note this will include some supporting races in the closing stages of the Derby)
(6) Your entry will be marked on the basis of a fictional one point being staked at starting price (SP) win on each selection. Your nominated nap selection will be allocated a fictional two points. In the event of a dead-heat, normal betting rules will apply for settlement.
(7) If your nominated selection is a non runner your selection will automatically transfer to the race favourite at the off – if it’s a joint or co-fav then the lowest trap number will apply.
(8) You are only permitted to enter once and must use the same name / email format for each round of the Derby.
(9) Updates on the leaderboard will appear in the Racing Post Greyhound section.
(10) Entries must be received prior to the start time of the first race in the respective round.
(11) We reserve the right to disqualify any entry if we suspect multiple entries from any single IP address
(12) If you are successful and win any FREE BETS you will be required to have a Star Sports betting account.
(13) Free Bet stakes are not returned with winnings.
(14) Free Bet awards cannot be exchanged for cash.
(15) The Free Bet must be used within the timeframe specified on the promotion details and may not be either part used or carried forward.
(16) Your email address will only be used to identify you in the competition (and contact you if you are a winner) and will not be used by either Racing Post, Star Sports or passed on to any other organisation.
