NOTTINGHAM FOREST v MAN CITY PREVIEW

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for Nottingham Forest, who have won just one of their opening nine league games and currently sit 19th in the table.

That has inevitably led to Glasner coming under pressure, although perhaps that’s not too surprising given the managerial merry-go-round that went on at Forest last season.

Manchester City, meanwhile, continue to produce positive results despite the ongoing cloud of uncertainty surrounding the looming sanctions against them. They followed up with another encouraging Champions League result against RB Leipzig in midweek and will be looking to carry that momentum into the weekend.

One of the main talking points will undoubtedly be the return to the City Ground of Elliot Anderson, who made a big-money move from Forest to City in the summer. It remains to be seen what sort of reception he receives from the home supporters, but he’ll be focused on making an impact for his new club.
