ALEX CROOK PREVIEW: Czech Republic v England

England have no time to feel sorry themselves in the wake of Saturday’s defeat to Spain as they head to the Czech Republic for a must-win clash, writes ALEX CROOK.

The hosts also need to bounce back from losing their opening Nations League clash 2-1 to Croatia, following on from crashing out of the World Cup in the group stage.

You have to go back more than a decades to the last time they suffered back-to-back home defeats, a record they will be keen to protect.

But the reality is this a game England should be winning fairly comfortably, particularly if they can cut out the defensive mistakes that cost them at the weekend.

Jude Bellingham showed why was voted the Three Lions’ player of the year for the second year in a row and did everything but score.
