Oasis and Robbie Williams among market fancies for the new year

Star Sports have revealed their Top 100 betting specials for 2025, with Gary Lineker expected to make an appearance on either I’m A Celebrity or Strictly Come Dancing.

Lineker will step down from his position as presenter of Match of the Day at the end of the Premier League season, and is 7/1 to be a contestant on either of the hit reality TV shows.

It is 12/1 for either Mark Hoyle or wife Roxanne, the married YouTubers known as LadBaby, to appear on either show and 14/1 for a member of McFly to win I’m A Celeb or Masked Singer.

Oasis will be back on the road in 2025 after their blockbuster reunion announcement, but the Mancunian Britpop legends are 12/1 to break up before the end of the tour.

Robbie Williams, meanwhile, is the same price to make an appearance alongside the Gallagher brothers.

Luke Tarr, Head of PR at Star Sports, said at Star Sports, said: “We’ve released our Top 100 betting specials for 2025 with plenty of showbiz stories on the agenda.

“There’s speculation as to what Gary Lineker will do when he leaves the Match of the Day presenter’s chair, with a stint on I’m A Celeb or Strictly Come Dancing priced at 7/1.

“The summer is likely to be dominated by Oasis’ arena shows, but we think it’s a 12/1 chance that the Gallaghers fail to complete the tour.

“It’s also 12/1 for fellow British music icon Robbie Williams to appear alongside the chart-topping band on tour.”
