STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Tues: England v Czech Republic

England’s final assignment from a block of four Nations League fixtures is a home game against Czechia, and it’s one they should have little trouble negotiating successfully, writes WILLIAM KEDJANYI.

The feel-good factor appears to be back with this England side after their seven-goal demolition of Croatia on Saturday, and Thomas Tuchel is well and truly on the road to redemption with the fans after the disappointment of going out to Argentina in the World Cup.

And, a third successive Nations League success is surely on the cards against a Czechia side, ranked 50th in the world, that haven’t won a competitive game since last November.

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

It should come as no surprise that the hosts are very short 2/15 favourites to win this game, with Czechia as big as 20/1 to beat England at Wembley for the first time in their history.

Tuchel is likely to make some changes to his starting eleven, with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Anthony Gordon prime candidates to be rested, but the depth of talent at the manager’s disposal is such that whatever team he puts out, it should be more than good enough to see off a Czechia side low on confidence after suffering a fourth successive defeat at the weekend.

With England prices so prohibitive, the best way into this fixture from a betting perspective is to back the hosts on the handicap. The Three Lions have racked up 15 goals in their last four matches and we can get 20/21 with starsports.bet about them overcoming a -2 start, which looks perfectly reasonable.
